Lydia was 3 months old when a mass was found behind her eye. The surgery was scheduled quick – within a week we had a date scheduled. The Ronald McDonald House gave us a place to stay, where we didn’t have to worry about traveling to and from the hospital. We were close and had a caring place to go, when emotions were running wild. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming at the House. It felt like a home away from home. We are now 5 weeks post surgery, and her eye is healing nicely. We couldn’t thank the Ronald McDonald House enough!
