Keeping Families Close

RMHC gives a family with an ill or injured child what they need most — each other.

At Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho, we are helping families face the burden of their child’s illness together. They have enough worries attending to the complicated medical needs of their child, maintaining their jobs, caring for other children or family members and keeping up with medical and out-of-pocket expenses – at RMHC of Idaho, we care for the family so they can focus on their ill or injured child.

Ways to Support Families

What We Do

Keeping families with sick children close to each other and the care and resources they need.

Idaho Ronald McDonald House
A home away from home for families who travel to Boise for their child’s medical care. Our 47-room House provides families with everything they need, allowing them to focus on their sick child.

Ronald McDonald Family Room
The Family Room at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) provides a place to relax, eat, shower, and sleep for families with sick children, all within the walls of the hospital.

Happy Wheels Hospitality Carts
Designed to serve families who wait for hours without leaving the hospital or their child’s bedside, the Happy Wheels Carts provide a bit of comfort as they travel the hospital hallways.
