Potato Days 2025 Partners with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho for New Beer Garden

RMHC of Idaho Team for Potato Days

Last year, more than 25,000 Idahoans gathered at Potato Days to enjoy food and potato-themed games in celebration of the state’s most iconic crop. This year, Potato Days will debut a new beer garden at its 2025 festival in partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho. The three-day event runs September 19–21 at Kleiner Memorial Park in Meridian.

The beer garden will operate Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Proceeds will support RMHC of Idaho, which provides housing and support for families of ill and injured children.

This year’s drink lineup includes Michelob Ultra, Kona Big Wave, Elysian Space Dust, and Nutrl seltzers in pineapple and cranberry flavors. The beer garden will sit alongside the festival’s new signature potato kitchen, which will serve over 20,000 Idaho potatoes.

A full schedule of live music will run throughout the weekend on the main stage. Local bands, acoustic acts, and family-friendly performers will take the spotlight, adding to the community-driven atmosphere.

“We’re incredibly grateful to be a part of this event where community and connection take center stage,” said Nancee Bakken, director of RMHC of Idaho. “Last year, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho served over 2,000 families and provided 9,000 nights of lodging to families with ill and injured children. This year we continue to see a growing number of families in need of our services. It is partnerships like this one with Idaho Potato Days that help sustain our work and share our mission with the very people we’re here to serve.”

Potato Days selected RMHC of Idaho as its 2025 beneficiary for its strong ties to the state and its commitment to families in crisis.

The event is free to attend. More information is available at www.familypotatodays.com.
