Mindy Headshot

Earlier this year. Executive Director Mindy Plumlee announced to the board her plans to retire from her role with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho after leading the organization for more than 22 years. The number of families, employees, volunteers, board members, and communities that Mindy’s dedication and selfless leadership has directly impacted would be impossible to calculate.

She has served the mission, board, and community in a way that will be felt for generations.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, we would like to invite you to a Community Open House celebrating Mindy’s retirement on Wednesday, November 29th, between 2-6pm at the Idaho Ronald McDonald House, 139 E Warm Springs Ave. in Boise.

Mindy joined RMHC Idaho as Executive Director in 2001 when the organization consisted of a 12 room Ronald McDonald House. During her tenure, the organization grew in capacity, location and impact to serve families with ill or injured children. Leading the charity through three capital campaigns and extensive growth, today the programs RMHC Idaho operates include a 47 room Ronald McDonald House in Boise, a 4 room Ronald McDonald Family Room in Idaho Falls and Happy Wheels Hospitality Carts in the hospitals in Saint Alphonsus in Boise, and St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital in Boise and Twin Falls.

She has served on boards to support professional development, nonprofits, and philanthropic giving. She has received numerous honors, including the Idaho Business Review’s CEO of Excellence, Woman of the Year and Accomplished Under 40 Awards.

Please join us to celebrate Mindy’s impact on the essential mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho.
