Holiday Wish Lists and Giving Tree

This holiday season, give the gift of comfort, strength, and love!

As the holiday season approaches, help create magical moments for families at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho.

Our mission is to support families with ill and injured children by removing barriers and easing burdens, allowing them to focus on what matters most: the health and well-being of their child.

The holidays can be particularly challenging for these families, and your generosity can make a significant difference.

Here are several ways you and your team can support families this season:

Giving Tree
Display our Giving Tree ornaments in your office, church, gym, store, restaurant etc. to facilitate donation drives. Each ornament highlights specific needs from families, such as snacks, household supplies, clothing, toiletries, or toys. Share the ornaments with your colleagues, customers, and friends, and collect the items for us to distribute.

Online Giving Tree
We can create a personalized online giving page for your company, detailing Wishlist items, and needs. This page can be shared electronically, and also offers an option for monetary donations to RMHC of Idaho. [Example Online Giving Page]

Volunteer Opportunities
We need holiday volunteers to help organize, sort, and distribute donations, as well as bake goodies, cook meals, and assist around the House.

Your support is crucial in keeping families together during some of the most difficult times in their lives. We do not charge families for our services; it’s the generosity of our community that makes this possible. If you’d like to help make the holidays special for families at the Ronald McDonald House and Family Room, please email us at giving@rmhcidaho.org.

2025 Holiday Giving Suggestions

House Holiday Wish List

Ronald McDonald House—Boise, ID

The RMHC of Idaho House is preparing to re-create “Santa’s Workshop” where our guest-families can go through and select gift items (“shop”) for their family for the holidays.

Donations may be dropped off at the RMHC of Idaho House (139 E. Warm Springs Ave. Boise, ID 83712) between 9:00 am and 7:00 pm, seven days a week. Please call ahead of time if you have a large donation.

If you don’t have time to shop, you can order items from our House online holiday wish list and have the items directly shipped to the House.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • All items must be new and in original packaging
  • We do not accept expired food
  • For the safety and well-being of families, we can only accept NEW toys, stuffed animals, books and clothing

Family Room Holiday Wish List

Ronald McDonald Family Room—Idaho Falls, ID

Together we can make the holidays a little brighter for families staying at the Family Room.

Donations may be dropped off at the RMHC of Idaho Family Room (3200 Channing Way Ste 106, Idaho Falls, ID 83404) between 9:00 am and 7:00 pm, seven days a week. Please call ahead of time if you have a large donation.

If you don’t have time to shop, you can order items from our Family Room online holiday wish list and have the items directly shipped to the Ronald McDonald Family Room.
