J.R. Simplot Memorial Golf Tournament
Benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho
Over 31 years ago, when local community leaders came together to open a Ronald McDonald House in Boise, J.R. and Esther Simplot stepped forward. They provided the funding needed to purchase the home at 101 Warm Springs Avenue. And over the years, the Simplot family and the J.R. Simplot Company secured the success of the House with their support and volunteer resources.
The J.R. Simplot Memorial Golf Tournament is scheduled each year in September to honor J.R. and continue his family and company’s commitment to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho. It is a one-day, four-person scramble with a shotgun start at 10:00am played on the 27 holes at the Falcon Crest Golf Club. The Tournament has been a sell-out the past three years and we are honored that so many of the Simplot Company partners travel to Boise to participate in this very important fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho.
