A home-away-from-home
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho provides essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare.
We care for families with children who are ill or injured.
RMHC of Idaho is committed to providing exceptional programs by leading with compassion, being deeply respectful, and acting with integrity.
When families have children who require medical help far away from home, we’re here. We serve families from southwest and eastern Idaho, the Magic Valley, eastern Oregon, northern Nevada, and beyond.
For an ill or injured child, sometimes the best medicine of all is having family nearby for more hugs, kisses, and “I love yous.” Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho strives to provide a network of support, understanding, and care so families can focus on taking care of each other.
Since 1988 our work has been made possible by the generosity of donors like you—from charitable foundations and businesses to community groups and individuals who want to support families in need. We are building a community of care, where volunteers prepare meals and donors provide funds to keep the lights on.
Over the years, and only because of the generosity of donors who have supported our cause, we have evolved. We continue to develop programs to meet families’ needs as they face the medical uncertainty and financial strain of caring for their children.

A "home-away-from-home" for families with hospitalized children.

A friendly place in the hospital for families to rest and heal.

Offering pediatric patients and their families snacks, toys, crafts and activities, toiletries, treats, and more.

We have many wonderful volunteer opportunities like providing meals and helping around the House and Family Room.
Parents don’t know when their children will need medical help. But they should know they can always access the care they need. And with your help, we can support them all throughout their journey.
