Family Room Wish List

Providing wish list items for the Family Room is a great way to support families with sick children at EIRMC. Please check our wish list and pick up one or two items the next time you’re at the store! Items can be dropped off during the Family Room’s regular hours (9:15 am – 8 pm, 7 days a week). We also have an online wish list where items can be ordered and shipped to the Family Room at 3200 Channing Way, Ste 106 Idaho Falls, ID 83404.

Making a Meal for Families

Ensuring families are well fed is a huge part of what we do at the Ronald McDonald Family Room. In order to provide meals for families, we rely on support from the community.

Volunteer Groups (of 3 people or less) may schedule a shift to prepare a meal or bake. All volunteers are required to meet the health criteria as outlined on this page.

Volunteer Application, and all other volunteer opportunities can be found here.

Donating a Meal

If you’re unable to come to the Family Room but still want to help, you can feed families by signing up to provide a meal. You can have a meal delivered from a restaurant, drop off food from a grocery deli, or have a catering order sent to the Family Room for families.

Notes of Encouragement

Even the smallest gestures can go a long way to make a family feel a little less alone during their child’s medical fight. A great way to show your support is by decorating notes of encouragement and adding chapstick or lotion for us to hand out to families.

CORE Volunteers

Our CORE volunteers are individuals who make a long-term commitment to volunteer two to four times a month on a regular shift. CORE volunteers will often work at the front desk or come in regularly to bake and/or prepare meals. If you’re interested in becoming a CORE volunteer for the Family Room, applications can be found here, or please reach out to Nari at nari@rmhcidaho.org or 208-227-2898.
