Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho, Inc. (RMHC) is pleased to provide information to all of its customers about its privacy policy. Please be assured that RMHC uses its best efforts to protect the privacy of donors and visitors to this website.

Types of Information Collected and How It Is Used
RMHC gathers personal information, such as first and last names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, etc, only when voluntarily submitted by you.

Name, address and other information provided by a donor will be used appropriately to provide information on Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho activities including special events or fundraising needs and to acknowledge donations.  If at any time a donor wishes to not be acknowledged or to receive less mail or wishes to be removed from any of our communications, they may do so by contacting us by phone at (208) 336-5478 and we will gladly accommodate the request.

Security of Donor Information
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho strongly believes in protecting the privacy of its donors and prospective donors and the confidentiality of information concerning them.  Donor records and other donor information are highly confidential and protected by organizational policy.

Donor information is stored within a donor management database within RMHC. Access to the database is restricted to RMHC personnel with legitimate business needs to access or modify the information contained therein.

Sharing of Personal Information
In agreement with the RMHC Confidentiality and Privacy Policy, RMHC does not rent, sell, transfer or trade any donor, volunteer or guest information collected.

RMHC reserves the right to use or disclose any information as needed to satisfy any law, regulation or legal request, to protect the integrity of the website, to fulfill your requests, or to cooperate in any law enforcement investigation or an investigation on a public safety matter.

Donors are provided with an opportunity to be anonymous and to request that their name and/or the amount of their gift not be publicly released.  Donors who request anonymity, whether for gift amounts or for themselves, will be publicly acknowledged as “anonymous.”  Information on anonymous donors will be flagged prominently as “anonymous” in all paper files and computer records.

Access
You are in control of all personal information you provide to us. If at any time, you would like to correct the personal information we have about you or if you would like to change your preferences for contacts from us, you can let us know by contacting us by phone, mail or email. If you would like to unsubscribe from our email list, please use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our newsletter emails or contact us. It may take up to two weeks to remove you from our mailing or emailing lists if we have something in production when you request to be removed.

Our privacy policy was updated on January 17, 2017. From time to time, it may be necessary for RMHC to change its privacy policy, so we suggest that you check here periodically. Rest assured, however, that any changes will not be retroactively applied and will not alter how we handle previously collected information.
