Our Relationship with McDonald’s
From the moment the doors opened at the first Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia, PA, the McDonald’s owner/operators, suppliers, employees, and customers have called our mission their own.
Locally, McDonald’s owners and operators stand by the mission of RMHC in a big way.
Round-Up for RMHC – a new way to give!
McDonald’s has launched a new technology in restaurants, giving customers the opportunity to round-up their purchase to the nearest dollar (regardless of payment method). Round-up for RMHC is a national 365-day-per-year fundraising program featured in restaurants.
Next time you visit, consider giving a small donation right when you order by rounding up your total to the nearest dollar.
Here’s how you can donate:
(At Kiosk)
Choose to Round-Up your total during checkout.
(At Counter and Drive Thru)
Let a Crew Member know you would like to “Round-Up” when you place your order.

Every Penny Counts
Each time you purchase a Happy Meal or a Mighty Kids Meal, a penny of that is donated to RMHC.
Donation Boxes
Throughout the year, you can find RMHC Donation Boxes in McDonald’s restaurants on the front counter and at the drive-thru. You can contribute your spare change every time you visit. The nickels, dimes, and quarters you donate help RMHC give families a welcoming, comfortable place to sleep, eat and cope while their children are hospitalized.
